Dr. Iqra Ameen

Dr. Iqra Ameen is a researcher in Organic Chemistry specializing in carbon–carbon coupling reactions using reduced graphene oxide-based nanocomposites. She completed her Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from The Women’s University, Multan. Her research focuses on the fabrication, characterization, and catalytic applications of RGO-based metallic nanocomposites in cross-coupling reactions. Dr. Ameen has published research on Suzuki coupling reactions using Ag@RGO, Au@RGO, and Zr@RGO nanocomposites and contributed a review article on Heck coupling reactions. Her work aims to develop efficient, eco-friendly, and cost-effective nanocatalysts for carbon–carbon bond formation in modern organic synthesis. She has five years of university-level Organic Chemistry teaching experience and has supervised MPhil students working on nanocomposites and cross-coupling reactions. Her academic interests include Suzuki coupling, Heck coupling, nanocatalysis, graphene-based materials, and green chemistry approaches in organic synthesis.
